Farmland market in South West and Wales brings options

Opportunities to purchase farmland in the the South West of England and Wales have arisen with the sale of bare land and farms this week. Here is a selection. 

Mid-Devon pasture on sale for £450,000

About 70 acres of bare arable land and pasture is for sale near Crediton at a guide price of £450,000.

Lotted suckler farm in Dorset on offer

A west Dorset suckler beef farm with 39 acres is for sale by auction in four lots.

Lower Mount Farm (pictured), near Bridport, has a farmhouse, range of buildings and about 17 acres for sale at a guide price of £495,000.

A 50-acre block of permanent pasture is for sale near Salisbury.

Powys hill farm sees guide price drop

The price of a 189-acre livestock hill farm in mid-Wales has dropped from £1.25m to £950,000 to encourage a quicker sale. The farm has been on the market since the end of 2014.
