Lion egg sales up 2%

Sales figures for the first quarter of 2007 are in and Lion Quality eggs have seen an increase in volume of 2% from last year, on the back of a successful TV advertising campaign..

To date 17.5 million consumers have seen the 2007 Lion Quality eggs TV ads with the campaign being seen, on average, 11 times by main shoppers so far, according to the British Egg Information Service. 

The prominence of the website address on the ads, coupled with the online advertising campaign, has resulted in a huge increase in visits to the Lion Quality eggs website with 930,000 visits so far this year, approximately 140% higher than the same period last year.
