Masstock takeover

MASSTOCK ARABLE has taken over Reading-based agricultural merchant and agronomy adviser Hall Plank Robinson with immediate effect. The move has secured a future for the firm, which had temporarily entered administration.

Managing director Andrew Hall said his customers should not be affected by the changes, although the firm would now be known as HPR. “It has all happened rather quickly and is just a sad reflection on the state of the industry,” he said. The 15 staff and offices will remain unchanged.
