Mid-Wales unit offers dairy, stock and arable

One of the largest farms to be sold in mid-Wales for some years offers arable, dairy and stock enterprises.

In the Severn Valley, near Newtown, Red House Farm, Aberhafesp has 454 acres, 66,000 square feet of modern farm buildings and four residential properties. It is on the market as a whole or in up to eight lots, with a guide price of £5m.

The farmhouse and extensive buildings sit centrally on the land, with the buildings including a modern 32:16 herringbone parlour, cubicles for 175 cows, sheds and loose housing for 250 cows and followers as well as store cattle fattening buildings.

There is also about 2,000t of silage storage, a mill house, a grain store and a sheep handling unit.
