MLC enlists help to boost red meat exports

A drive by the Meat and Livestock Commission to export more red meat from Britain has been boosted by two new members of staff.

Caroline Fredj and Susanne Gedeon will work as assistant export managers alongside MLC export manager Jean-Pierre Garnier.

The team will work to promote meat exports on behalf of the English Beef and Lamb Executive, British Pig Executive and Hybu Cig Cymru (Meat Promotion Wales).

“Exports of red meat are becoming increasingly important to the industry and also increasingly popular in foreign markets,” Mr Garnier said.

“Caroline and Susanne will help us make the most of the opportunities available.”
