Call centre to open over weekend

THE RURAL Payments Agency‘s telephone helpline for single farm payment issues will remain open over the weekend (Apr 23-24).

An agency spokeswoman said a decision had been taken to keep the call centre open from 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday until the deadline of May 16.

Opening hours during the week will remain 7.30am to 6pm.

The spokeswoman added that all calls on Rural Land Register issues should now be directed through the main helpline number of 0845 603 7777 rather than the Reading number previously issued.
