Planning permission will create new farm

The chance to set up a new farmstead on 100 acres comes with land at Wallop near Westbury in Shropshire.

The land has planning consent for an agricultural worker’s dwelling and is on the market as a whole or in two lots – almost 51 acres of quality arable land and 49 acres of pasture and woodland with an extensive range of farm buildings.

Selling agent Halls has set an overall guide price of £740,000-780,000. Lot one, with a guide price of £380,000-400,000, includes the Grade 3 arable land also suitable for grazing and mowing, with good road access.

A guide price of £360,000-380,000 for the second lot covers 20 acres of productive grazing, mowing and arable cropping land, more than 17 acres of permanent pasture and almost 12 acres of woodland and farm buildings.

The buildings include a cattle yard, a portal frame building with central feed store, a further cattle shed and a six-bay dutch barn. Outline planning permission has been granted for an agricultural worker’s dwelling on this second lot. (Halls 01743 450 700)
