Three mid-sized farms hit the market

Three mid-sized livestock and arable units are for sale this week in England and Scotland, offering the opportunity to buy a whole farm or blocks of land.

Well-equipped mixed farm, Leicestershire

Grange Farm (pictured above) near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, offers 200 acres of well-drained Grade 3 commercial arable and pastureland four general-purpose buildings, a grain store, four 90t grain silos and a 100ftx45ft livestock building.

First Yorkshire farm to market in 2015

Livestock unit High Ellermire Farm is thought to be the first Yorkshire farm to be publically marketed this year.

Situated between Helmsley and Stokesley in the North York Moors National Park, the farm offers 148 acres of grassland, more than 15,000sq ft of feed and stock buildings and a farmhouse.

Livestock farm in Scottish LFA

A 134-acre livestock farm on the banks of Breich Water in West Lothian offers a range of traditional and modern farm buildings and both ploughable and permanent pasture.

Bents Farm lies in a Less Favoured Area and maintains a traditional livestock-rearing operation.

The land is classified as Grades 3, 4 and 5 and is divided into 10 enclosures.
