Wales, Dartmoor and Shropshire acres for sale

Stunning views over Dartmoor

Sampford-Barton

South-west firm DR Kivell & Partners is handling the sale of Sampford Barton at Sampford Spiney, near Yelverton, Devon. The firm’s David Kivell said the 155-acre property, which features a Grade II listed five-bed house and a stone barn with conversion potential, would probably appeal to residential buyers attracted by the stunning views of Dartmoor. The farm is set to be auctioned on 19 March with a guide of £1.5m, but Mr Kivells said it could well sell privately first.

Shropshire arable acres

Halls is selling a 284-acre block of arable land at Meeson, near Telford, Shropshire. The agent’s Peter Willcock said the land, which is partially served by underground irrigation and forms one field, was being sold on behalf of Andrew Crow who had decided to restructure his farming business. Mr Hall has guided the sale at £4500-£5000/acre.
