Sands Agricultural Machinery was showing a new Horizon model with a completely new cab made to the company’s spec in Germany.
It’s a big cab, says Neal Sands, with rounded glass corners to maximise vision, new controls, Cat 4 filtration, a passenger seat and even a fridge that can be taken in and out of the cab. Tank options are 4,000 and 5,500 litres.
Deutz Stage IV final engines (either 212hp and 242hp) are fitted and torque is said to be up by 10-23% across the range.
This high-clearance model has 1.35m of underbody space and the full-spec model costs £170,000.
