A new holistic approach to hygiene management could help improve milk price and drive a better return on investment.

It is thought 8% of milk revenue is linked to hygiene. So a new service called Farm Intelligence from hygiene specialist Deosan will provide a comprehensive review of hygiene management practices and a thorough programme to deliver a measured return on the total investment on hygiene.

Farm Intelligence is a free service for customers of Deosan and will provide a bespoke hygiene plan for individual farms.

The whole focus is on treating hygiene management as an investment, rather than a cost and the aim is to deliver a higher return while reducing risk
