Livestock 2012: Dual chop system

A dual chop straw processing machine can provide products for both bedding and feeding.

The Tomahawk 8150 from Teagle replaces the old 8080 and can chop straw from 10mm up to 100mm covering most bedding and feeding needs.

Straw can be chopped in to small pieces thanks to a sieve located behind the chopping cassette that stops any long straw passing through which is then recycled through the blades by the crossbeater.

A set of retractable blades also allows straw to be lightly shredded or to be cut short.
