Livestock 2013: New pour-on to fight parasites
Animal health company Norbrook has released a fast-acting, second generation Eprinomectin pour-on solution to combat parasitic infections in dairy and beef animals.
Eprizero has no milk withdrawal, so it can be used strategically at any stage of lactation, and has an improved meat withdrawal period of just 10 days.
It targets gutworm and lungworm infections, as well as external parasites in one easy application. It has a persistency of 28 days and is rainfast.
It is registered for use in the UK and Ireland and costs about £4 a head.
