Pig and Poultry Fair 2012: Five reasons to attend

280 companies will be available for information on all areas from housing and environmental control to breeding, as well as information on new products. See a full exhibitor listing.

2. Champion pork and poultry

An initiative to get everyone in the industry doing a little to champion pork and poultry will be launched at this year’s fair. Visit the Champion Pork and Poultry resource centre and discover 10 ways to help spread the word.

3. Headline debate

Chaired by the NFU’s Peter Kendall, this year’s headline debate examines the opportunity for British pork, poultry and eggs in the food service sector. Taking place on the Tuesday, this will kick off at 11:30am.

4. Forums and workshops

A programme of technical and business forums and workshops will provide up-to-the-minute advice helping you address key industry challenges and drive your business forward. See a full list of forums and workshops. You could also earn five PIPR for attending the forums and workshops.

5. Win free gifts at Poultry World stand

Tickets: The fair is FREE for visitors, but you will be required to register either on the day or beforehand

Location: Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ. The nearest train stations are Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick and Warwick Parkway, all a short taxi ride away. The nearest airport is Birmingham International, which is approximately 20 minutes away by taxi from Stoneleigh Park
