Students wishing to apply for the NFU Mutual‘s Centenary Award have less than a month to apply.
The award gives annual bursaries to pay 75% of course fees for selected postgraduate students in agriculture (Masters or PhD) for courses starting this autumn.
Sustainable agriculture, climate change and agriculture, and international agricultural development are topic areas of interest, according to the NFU Mutual Charitable Trust.
The award is open to students from the UK who have gained, or expect to gain, a 2:1 or above in agriculture or a closely related degree, and have been accepted or provisionally accepted onto a Masters or PhD course in the UK.
“We want our Centenary Award to benefit agricultural education and research, and help encourage a vibrant and sustainable farming industry,” said Sir Donald Curry, NFU Mutual chairman.
