A farmer near Sheffield has made a Christmas light display with a difference – fashioning a New Holland tractor out of 800 LED blubs.
Steven Skepper, who farms at Carr Farm between Sheffield and Worksop with his family, decided to make the novel decoration, which is now displayed on the side of his house – Carr Farm Cottage.
“Every year we put a few lights outside and a chap who worked for us said I ought to try a tractor. So I decided to have a go,” he said.

“I marked it out on some plywood and then drilled about 800 holes to feed the LED lights through. I used about three sets of Christmas lights and have one set flashing for the headlights.
“It took me about a day to do and I’ve already had loads of locals contacting me on Facebook to say they like it.
“I think it will attract quite a lot of attention as it is quite intense, although a number of people have already mentioned that I need to add a trailer next year!”
