Farmers Weekly launches 2014 photography competition

Farmers Weekly has launched its prestigious 2014 photography competition, giving readers the chance to showcase their work and win a cash prize.

With eight categories covering varied farming and rural topics, it is open to any amateur photographer and there is £350 on offer for the “winner of winners” – the picture we like best from all the category winners.

The eight categories are machinery, wildlife, livestock, landscapes and views, people, pets, black-and-white and young snapper.

We’ll be including a selection of your shots in the bumper Christmas issue of Farmers Weekly magazine, so you could even see your work in print.

Entering is quick and easy – you just need to upload your best pictures to one or more of the relevant entry galleries in our website.

It is always nice to see a little information about where and when the picture was taken, so feel free to include a line or two of details when you upload the picture.

The closing date is Friday 31 October, 2014.
