Help us identify ‘the greatest farming innovation’

Farmers Weekly is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year so, to mark the occasion, we’re launching a new series which will identify the major milestones affecting our industry over that period.

It kicks off with our search, in association with EB Equipment, to identify The Greatest Farming Innovation.

EB-Equipment-logoThe Greatest Farming Innovation is brought to you in association with EB Equipment – designing and manufacturing innovative, cost effective and reliable livestock feeding systems for more than 50 years

There are dozens of contenders – the three-point linkage, GM technology and the mobile phone, to name just three. But we want to hear what you think has most revolutionised agriculture.

The innovation class is the first of six categories in our Farming’s Greatest series – others will identify what have been The Greatest Farming Figure, Machine, Decade, View and Cock-up of the last three-quarters of a century.

You can read some other suggestions in this category and contribute your own. We’ll be drawing up a shortlist from all your suggestions and giving you the chance to vote later in the year to pick overall winners in each category.

With FW celebrating its 75th birthday this year, and our sister magazine Crops celebrating its 25th, it seems a fitting time to mark these milestones.
