The year’s Royal Show (7-10 July) may be the last, but it is shaping up to be one of the most successful for some time.
And you could be among the crowds because Farmers Weekly has two pairs of VIP tickets to give away for the 2009 show.
The lucky winners of our competition will enjoy champagne and bacon rolls on arrival at the showground in Warwickshire, lunch, a shop and drop facility and grand ring seats.
Advance ticket sales for the show are up 55% on last year and livestock entries are also high – suggesting that people are keen to mark the passing of such an historic show with a final visit.
“These figures show that the Royal Show 2009 is definitely an event not to be missed,” said RASE director of communications and marketing Denis Chamberlain.
“The show has always been a fantastic place to catch up with friends and colleagues, and see the very best that British farming has to offer. We are delighted that so many people have already planned to be at what promises to be a momentous occasion.”
