£3500 private deal for Isle of Man Texel tup

Texel ram lamb Orrisdale Santana from the Kermode family, Isle of Man, is destined for the Cwmcerrig flock of D J J Watkins in a £3500 deal. He was seen on the recent South Wales Texel Club trip to the Island and will be joined in South Wales by five other Orrisdale Texels.isle of man texel lamb.jpgSantana has excellent conformation and skin and is by New Testament Pharoah, (a Brague Nixon son out of a Cornerstone ewe) and out of a homebred dam by Callerton Kielder. He will be shown at the Royal Highland and Great Yorkshire Shows en-route to Cross Hands.

Also travelling south will be; Orrisdale Ringleader, a shearling tup by Braehead Old Testament (sire of 8000gns Orrisdale Paradise) destined for the Padest and Divlyn flocks of the Williams family Crai, and Jones family Cilycwm; Orrisdale Smoothy a long, shapely Hexel Rocket Man son destined for the Scurlage Castle flock of Keith Evans, The Gower; an upstanding ewe lamb by 2009 Dungannon Sale Champion Millar’s Professor and a very sharp ewe lamb by Milnbank Popcorn to the Welsh flock of the Evans family, Llanddarog; and finally a solid, bare ewe lamb by New Testament Pharoah to the Ifan Ddu flock of Alfryn Davies, Penygroes.
