4000gns top call at Dungannon for Limousins

Yesterday’s sale of Limousins at Dungannon sold to a peak of 4000gns for Edenross Dasher, a July 2008-born son of Sympa. Out of Edenross Victory, an Ocean daughter, this one was forward from M McCourt, Rostrevor, Co Down, and stood senior and overall champion in the pre-sale show. He was sold to Sean O’Connor, Castlewellan.

Edenross Dasher.jpgThen at 3500gns was Culnagechan Dyson from Derek Hume, Randalstown. This osn of Glenrock Vagrant is out of Cornascribe Scarlet, a Pelletstown Ken granddaughter. He was bought by Nugent Estates, Co Down.

And at 3000gns was Linisk Dustin from J and E Wilson, Ballyroney, a Lynderg vladimir son out of Drumreagh Vicky. Combining Gigolo and Cannon breeding this one was snapped up by A Stevenson, Armoy, Co Antrim.

Topping a solid female trade at 2300gns was Millgate Abbey bred by Michael Loughran and consigned on the day by P and M Woods, Rostrevor. Sired by Rocky and out of Ashmara Sportyspice, a Rake Terrence daughter, she sold with a beef value of +35 to F McConalogue, having been AI’d to Wilodge Tonka.

Selling at 2000gns was the female champion, Banville Emma from Berry Bros, Banbridge. Sired by Apoloben and out of Banville Unidare she sold to R McNamee.

At the same money was Rahoney Christmas from H and D McFarland, Trillick. This is by Drummin Beau and ouf of Rahoney Amanda, a Tanat Mostyn daughter. She sold in calf to Teddy and was bought by John McGeehan, Co Fermanagh.

A recipient carrying an embryo of Haltcliffe Vermount on Carmorn Penny sold for 3400gns and sold to Dermott McNamee, Newtonstewart.
