Appeal after 17 sheep killed in savage dog attack
Police in Lincolnshire are investigating a dog attack that left 17 sheep dead.
The attack happened in a field in Croxby, Market Rasen, sometime overnight between Thursday 11 January and Friday 12 January.
As a result, 17 pedigree Hampshire and Blue Texel rams were killed, one was left in a serious condition and other sheep suffered a variety of injuries.

Officers said one ram was missing and could be in the local area of Croxby or Brookenby.

A force spokesman said: “It is believed the injuries are consistent with a dog attack.”
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious, or who may have seen the missing ram should call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 78 of 12 January.
