Class 603: Commercial beef heifer under 558kg showing no permanent teeth

1st – Mr Dermot Small’s Mya, sired by Hightown Daglish and out of a BB.

2nd – Mr Dermot Small’s Khaleesi, sired by Swarland Eddie and out of a BB cross.

3rd – Neil and Corre’s Galway Girl.

4th – Mr K and S Williamson’s Mia.

1st – J and S Smyth’s January 2013 born heifer.

2nd – Mr Robert Miller’s She’s a Diamond.

3rd – Jack and Tara O’Brien’s Dangerous Lady.

4th – Jack and Tara O’Brien’s Sparky Lady.

 

Class 605: Commercial beef steer under 540kg showing no permanent teeth

1st – Mr Alistair Crawford’s Junior, born May 2013.

2nd – Neil and Corre’s Barney Rubble, born July 2013.

3rd – Mr Dermot Small’s Weeman, sired by Swarland Eddie and out of a BB cross.

4th – Mr David Spiers’ High Roller, sired by a Limousin and out of a BB.

 

Class 606: Commercial beef steer over 540kg showing no permanent teeth

1st – Mr Richard Fleming’s Greased Lightning, sired by Grahams Equador and out of a Limousin cross.

2nd – Mr David Spiers’ Black Reek, sired by Bahut and out of a BB.

3rd – Mr Mark Armstrong’s Dreamer, sired by a British Blue and out of a Limousin.

4th – Miss Heather Ellison’s Sparky.

Champions – Mr Dermot Small’s heifers under 558kg, Mya and Khaleesi.

Reserves – Tara and Jack O’Brien’s heifers over 558kg, Sparky Lady and Dangerous Lady.

J and S Smyth’s Jan 2013-born heifer over 558kg took the title, with the reserve going to Mr Dermot Small’s under 558kg heifer, Mya.

 

Best commercial beef steer

Mr Allistair Crawford’s Junior, under 540kg, was crowned champion steer, with the reserve rosette awarded to another under 540kg – Neil and Corre’s Barney Rubble.
