Beef Expo pedigree titles go to Wilodge

Both the overall and reserve titles in the pedigree calf show at Beef Expo went to the Christine Williams and Paul Tippets with entries from the Wilodge Limousin herd.

Taking overall honours and the Continental championship was a May 2008-born Wilodge Vantastic daughter, Wilodge Diamante. Living up to her name, Diamante had sparkled throughout the judging during the afternoon and looked every inch a champion from her first class onwards. She is out of Wilodge Amethyst who shares maternal lines with 50,000gns bull Wilodge Cerberus.

Standing reserve overall and reserve Continental champion was another Vantastic son Wilodge Dallagio. Born in July last year Dallagio is out of 24,000gns purchase Sarkley Bellola and is heading for a string of summer shows before being targetted at next February’s Carlisle Limousin sale. That is of course unless someone snaps him up first!

Native champion was Gerald Blandford’s Hereford bull calf Bosa 1 Laner, he’s by Rael 1 Boldric and out of Reydon 1 Elke.
