Get livestock health advice with Moredun’s roadshows
Vets and scientists from the UK’s leading animal health research institute will hit the road in November as they embark on a massive 10 date animal health roadshow.
Organised by Moredun, each of the ten events will highlight a different health issue and aim to provide farmers with the information they need to maximise the health, productivity and profitability of Britain’s livestock.
Subjects to be covered include worm control, liver fluke, johne’s disease, cryptosporidiosis, BVD and ill-thrift in lambs.
Julie Fitzpatrick, chief executive of Moredun says she hopes the meetings will help farmers learn more about specific animal health problems, enabling them to make informed choices about disease control.
“The subjects to be covered have all been suggested by our board of regional advisors, most of whom are farmers themselves – allowing us to remain focused on the needs of the industry.”
*Moredun’s animal health roadshow will run between 3 and 18 November and will visit Tain, Carfraemill, Kilmarnock, Bridge of Allan, Penrith, Welshpool, Leek, Llandeilo, Cirencester and Sparsholt.
