Bishops cattle sell to 3250gns top
Andrew and Becky Bishop enjoyed a strong trade when they dispersed their pedigree Limousin herd at Ludlow on Saturday, with a top price of 3250gns paid for an imported cow. This was 2001-born Sepiole which sold in-calf to Wainedale UFO to Colin and Wendy Phillips, Weobley.
Next best price was paid for a pedigree cow, Blaneau Tizzy, with a British Blue sired calf at foot. Tizzy, by Lumbylaw Immaculate sold to R W Jones, Builth Wells, at 2650gns. And the same value was achieved for Littlebrook Upandcoming suckling a British Blue sired heifer calf which sold to P J Jones, Builth Wells.
Crossbred cows and calves sold to a top of 1850gns for a Limousin cow suckling a Limousin heifer which sold to Evans Corfield, Bishops Castle.
