Blue Beauties sale saw trade top at 6,500gns for six-month heifer

Heifers led the trade at Welshpool with the Rhymil Blue Beaties consignment from Rhys Millichap, Rhiwgarn Fach Farm, Glamorgan, topping at 6,500gns.

The six-month-old to take the top price was Rhymil Madonna (pictured below), an embryo transfer heifer sired by Bringlee Blackstar and out of Rhymil Highness, who is full sister to Rhymil Kylie, a multi-championship winner.

Taking Madonna home, with her embryo recipient, an Aberdeen Angus-cross cow, was Henry Jewitt, Gracies Farm, County Durham.
