Brooton herd dispersal

The dispersal of the Brooton herd of pedigree Charolais cattle on behalf of Mr D W and Mrs R A Nirth took place at East Midland Limousin sale, Newark.

Topping the trade was Brooton Urchin sired by Balthayock Maruis and with an excellent Blelack Ladysman May born bull calf at foot. This former Royal Show female champion was knocked down at 4000gns to an undisclosed purchaser.

Full sister to Urchin was Brooton Verna  this time with heifer calves at foot by Blelack Ladysman The successful purchaser was Messrs Bloomsfield, Suffolk at 3000gns.
