Carhall Lyster Elizabeth takes All-Britain title

Carhall Lyster Elizabeth and her daughter Carhall Jordan Elizabeth from father and son Ian and Mark Mallinson, Armathwaite, Carlisle, have been announced as recipients of Holstein UK’s 2007 All-Britain awards.

Holstein UK National show grand champion, Lyster Elizabeth, is no stranger to success having been awarded All-Britain status on 2005 as a heifer and has this time been given the junior second calved cow title.

Harrison and Hetherington auctioneer Glyn Lucas who has shown both animals at the National Holstein Show says Elizabeth is an exceptional animal and truly represents the best in terms of breeding that Britain has to offer.

One of the headliner animals already entered in Europe‘s most prestigious cattle sale is a Braedale Goldwyn daughter of Lyster Elizabeth. The Borderway Black and White Sale takes place on November 29 at Borderway Mart, Carlisle.

“We are aiming for 80-100 elite pedigree animals and anticipate several Red and White Holstein and Jersey heifers again being featured as part of the sale.
