Carlilse Limousin sale is kicking in to gear

Well we’re here and have had a wander round Borderway Mart and yes the Wilodge bull has lived up to expectations. Christine has often mentioned throughout the year how pleased she is with him and if he’d been on the show circuit this summer he would have definately done some damage!

I’m really looking forward to seeing him go through. There was plenty of talk about him last weekend at Beef Expo with the usual price predictions going round. Some are saying he is a 50,000gns bull some are saying even higher.

The other bulls that have caught my eye are one from the McKay family Ampertaine Cedric (lot 154) – he took the intermediate title last night and is by Sympa. Robert Graham has a real power house of a bull – he’s incredibly tall and will make a fantastic cow maker. Living up to his name Grahams Colossus is by the famous Grahams Unbeatable and out of Revision.

Smiths of Bloxham have two very smart youngsters with red and blue tickets on them – these boys are by Wilodge Vantastic.

We’ll keep you posted as the day goes on with trade…….any any gossip that might find its way to me!
