Carlilse Mule lambs reach £250

And yet more Mules have been sold this week, with trade at Carlisle hitting a hihg spot of £250 twice for lambs in the annual Latter Fair.

Taking the first of these £250 bids were Messrs Marston, Millstone Moor, with a pen which sold to Messrs Wilson. The other transaction at this level was for a pen from John Smith Jackson, Haltwhistle. These sold to Messrs Carter.

Overall the 6518 lambs forward sold to average a healthy £78.02, with the first prize pen from Messrs F and M Moore, Hillside, selling to Messrs Jenkinson, Whinfell Park.
