Carlisle Beltex sale tops at 4000gns

Saturday’s sale of Beltex females saw a top of 4000gns for Lugate Natasha, this year’s female and reserve breed champion from the Highland Show. Bred by Stuart McCormack, she is by Brickrow Loo and out of the Ian’s Highflyer daughter Lugate jane. She sold having been served to the 3500gns Glantra Norris to Paul Tippetts and Christine Williams, Shropshire for the Hackney flock. Next at 2200gns was one from the Buckle family. Buckles Norah Jones, by Newton Leo out of the Airyolland hercules daughter Buckles Jester, is maternal sister to the Great yorkshire Show champion Buckles Masterpiece. She was knocked down to R and J Mullholland, Cumbria. Next at 1600gns was one from G Shanks, Inveresk Never Been kissed. By Arntagullion Layabout, this one is out of the ulysses daughter Artnagullion Kitty and sold having ran with Harlenbois ironman to E McAllister, Ballymena, Co Antrim.
