Carlisle Limousin senior champion sells at 16,000gns

The senior champion from the pre-sale show Marlepark Edward from Castlewigg Farming has just sold at 16,000gns. This Ampertaine Bravo son is out of Marlepark Bessie, a Grahams Uist daughter and stood reserve overall yesterday too. He sold to Mr Thompson, Kelty, Fife, with a beef value of +44.

Then came the reserve senior champion, Homebyres Elgin from John Logan. This one is by homebred sire Hombebyres Arnott and out of Homebyres Vinsi, a Balnacraig Supreme daughter. This one with a beef value of +27 sold at 7000gns.
