Carlisle Limousin trade patchy but peaks at 30,000gns

Today’s Limousin sale at Carlisle has so far met a selective trade with many bulls failing to sell. However, there have been a few high priced sales.

Top price at this stage (2pm) is 30,000gns for an intermediate bull bought by the Pennie family for their Sarkley herd, with the second top set at 24,000gns for the overall champion. Bidding for this one was Bruce Goldie for his Goldies herd, Dumfries.
