Carlisle Whitebred Shorthorns sell to 4800gns

Topping the sale of Whitebred Shorthorns at Carlisle last Friday was a 4800gns call for March 2008-born bull Blackburn Marshall from G Jackson. This son of Milnholm Scott is out Blackburn Blossom, a Blackburn Taurus daughter and sold to J R F Pattinson, Hexham.

And at 3400gns wasa Barlaes Gladiator, another March 2008-born bull. This one from R and M Ferguson is by Raeburnfoot Talisman and out of Barlaes White Heather, a Glendearg Monarch daughter. He sold to T D and M Moore, Brampton, Carlisle.

Averages; three bulls £3220, two females £813.75 (Harrison and Hetherington).
