Cattle champions from Welsh Winter Fair

Judging has now been completed in the cattle championship at the Welsh Winter Fair and the overall honours have gone to Limousin cross steer Jonsi from Anglesey-based finisher Huw Jones.

Reserve spot was taken by Berwyn Jones with his Limousin cross heifer Miss Fancy Pants. She is no stranger to the show ring, having taken the calf championship at last year’s Royal Smithfield Christmas Fair, Shepton Mallet.

The baby beef champion was Blacky, a British Blue x Limousin X British Blue owned by R W & L A Jones
