Dungannon Texel females hit 4600gns peak

Top price in last night’s sale of Texel shearling ewes at Dungannon ahead of the tup sale today was a 4600gns bid for the reserve female champion, a Brague Nixon daughter from Brian Hanthorn’s Mullan flock. This one, lot 37 in the sale catalogue, is out of a dam by Tophill Joe and is full sister to 3200gns tup Mullan Paymaster. Buyer was Malcolm Reid for the Kelso flock.tex10lot37dng 3443.jpgThen at 1550gns was the female champion from Kenneth Wilson.
