First Beef Expo suckled calf heifer results

The early heifer classes have been decided here at Beef Expo, with the Light Limousin heifer class going to Mike and Melanie Alford with an unnamed 474kg entry. Second was T C Edwards and Sons with Red Hot at 456kg and third was Tecwyn Jones with Beauty Queen at 463kg.

In the medium Lim heifers the winner was Jonathan Timm with 512kg Tip Top, second was Messrs Sedgewick and Slack with 510kg Gunpowder Gertie and third was Louise Todd with 483kg Best of British.

Heavyweight heifer winner was Charlotte Alford with 548kg Poker Face, second was D Hughes with 532kg Blue Lagoon and third was Elfed Williams with Classy Lassy.

In the Blue cross heifers the first prize ticket went to Messrs Richardson and Hyslop with 411kg Tiger Lilly, second was G and J E Bell with Cheryl at 432kg and third was Keith Harryman with 414kg Alicia Keys.

The middleweight Blue heifer class went to Tecwyn Jones with 442kg Black Beauty (yet another with that name from Tecwyn), second was D Hughes with Cheeky Girl at 468kg and third was Phil and Sharon Sellers’ 457kg entry Lady Big Bucks.

Then the heavyweight Blue heifers were won by T C Edwards and Sons with 520kg entry Miss Stake, second here was Neil Slack with Boom Boom Pow at 572kg and third was 508kg entry Milly Moo from J W and R M Wilkinson.
