First day of Stirling all wrapped up

Well, that’s the first day of the bull sales in its new home all done and dusted and overall its been a successful day with Angus to 15,000gns and Lims to 12,000gns and a better trade for the Lims than many, including breed chairman Jim Bloom expected.

The new mart is fit for the purpose, the only criticism being it is maybe a tight squeeze for the October sales when all the breeds are in together, hopefully for February there will be a bit more space.

That’s me done for today, its pie and pint time, but be sure we’ll be back here tomorrow to bring you all the action ringside.
