As already reported here the top price was a 17,000gns call for Blackstown Rambo, a Millcomb Powerhouse son out of a dam by Mellor Vale Masterpiece. This embryo-bred lamb from Jim Wilson was sold to Cahir McAuley.Next best at 9500gns was Ballynahone Rambo, a son of 5200gns sire Mullan Playboy out of a Douganhill McFly daughter from R Henderson. This one sold to Keith Jamieson and R Black.Then at 6400gns was Heathmount Rhinestone, a Kelso Oxygen son out of a dam by McFly from the McKinney Brothers. Taking this one home was James Morgan.Making 3800gns was Derryvore Ranger from Owen Donohoe. This one is a Baltier Nailer son out of another McFly daughter and sold to Henry Gamble. And just shy of that at 3600gns was the last lamb in the catalogue, Foyle View Remarkable from Michael Smyth. He is similarly bred to the 3800gns lamb, being by Nailer and out of a McFly sired dam. He was ET bred and was snapped up by Pat Farrell.
Selling at 3200gns was the pre-sale champion from James Blari Adams, Kerryhill Renegade. this is a Brague Nixon son out a dam by Ballynahone Lone Star. Taking this one in a two way split were W McAffey and I Ellis.
Selling at 2800gns was Backburn Rossi from David Jones. He is a Kelso Oxygen son out of a McFly sired dam and went to P Garrivan.
Then at 2200gns was Duvarren Rossi from John Watson. This is a Kilcoan Pele son out of a Springhill Modello sired dam.
And a pair then made 2000gns, the first of which was Irish Hill Ronaldo from Wilson Kennedy. This Ballydonaghy Nijinsky son is out of a Glenside King II sired dam. The other at this money was Millar’s Rocket from Martin and Cyril Millar. He is a Kelso President son out of a dam by Mellor Vale Masterpiece, his ET bred brother heads for Lanark this week.
