Great display of commercial cattle at Armagh Show

Commercial cattle exhibitors turned out in force at Armagh Show to put on a great display of livestock for Co Donegal based judges Colm and Mark McLaughlin.

They selected “The Mistress” from James Alexander as their Supreme Champion on the day and described her as “a dream of a heifer” . This super young prospect is sired by the Limousin stock bull at Jalex “Kype Cassius” and is out of a Limousin blue cow.

The success story continued for commercial cattle in the Best Beef Pair of the Show which had a very strong entry with all the main continental and traditional beef breeds represented. It was a well matched duo of commercial cattle from James Alexander which took top honours. This pair comprised of the Commercial Champion and red ticket winner “The Bachelor” who is a Black N Blue Diesel son bred at Jalex.
