Help to increase worming awareness and win £50

How do you feel about changing worming practices? Do you understand the route to avoiding anthelmintic resistance in your flock? It appears there may still be some uncertainty surrounding sustainable worm control in sheep, which is why the Sustainable Control of Parasites group (SCOPS) is urging all sheep farmers to complete a short survey about worm control.

SCOPS has been working for the past seven years to increase the awareness of anthelmintic resistance in sheep, but the group’s Lesley Stubbings admits that while some of the messages are straightforward, others are more difficult and differ from conventional practices.

So in order to try and increase both awareness and uptake, SCOPS needs to understand how farmers feel about changing worming practices, what the barriers are to uptake and what needs to be done in the future to help producers.

By taking a few minutes to answer the short survey, farmers could be in with a chance of winning £50 worth of Amazon vouchers.
