Judge buys champion Limousin at Holsworthy

Taking the overall championship at Holsworthy and Stratton Winter Fair was Laura Rea of Bristol with her 18 month old Limousin steer. Backing his convictions as the show’s judge, Somerset butcher and show man Mike Alford bought the champion beast for £3/kg.

Taking the lamb title was Stuart Clatworthy from Highbridge with his pen of five Beltex cross lambs, which were bought by West Devon Meats for £90/head.
