Best among the Charollais was a £1000 bid for a shearling from the Paterson family, Upper Auchenlay. This sold to Jim Sutherland, Lauder.

Vendor of the largest run, Malcolm Stewart, Brotherstone, sold 85 Suffolk shearlings to level at £576, with the overall average for the 4185 rams traded finishing the day at £569.39, £111.83 up on last year.
