Lancaster Holsteins meet strong demand

A small, select entry Holstein entry at Lancaster met a firm trade, with the top call a 2650gns bid for Stardale Arthur Duchess from Messrs Burrow. This one sold to S Robinson and Son. She is by Stardale King Arthur and out of a VG 87 Outside daughter.

Next best at 2500gns was another from the same vendor which sold at 2500gns to E H Fearon. This was Stardale Toystory Vaakje, a Toystory daughter. And at the same money was Witherslack Andre Honey from David and Wayne Inman. This one is by a homebred sire and also sold to Mr Fearon.

Taking the day’s only 2400gns bid was the pre-sale champion from Tom Cowell. This was Whitecarr Sahara Lester, a Riverdane Sahara daughter. She sold to James and Anne Rogerson.
