Registration is now open for the Large Herd Seminar 2014, which this year includes practical on-farm sessions and technical workshops alongside the usual seminar programme.
Under the theme of “Total Dairy”, the expanded three-day programme offers something for everyone in the UK dairy industry, irrespective of herd size.
The seminar takes place from 24-26 June at Tortworth Court Four Pillars Hotel, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, with the new schedule enabling delegates to choose which sessions they would like to attend, depending on their area of interest.
American “dairy coach” Tom Wall will be talking about all aspects of labour management on farm with a workshop looking at how to put his advice into action. There will also be talks from experts in foot trimming and hoof health, Karl Burgi and Christer Bergsten, as well as Professor Sandra Godden, a leading investigator on Johne’s control and calf rearing in the USA.
Delegates who book their place before May will also receive a 10% early-bird discount on the standard price.
For more information and to register go online where you will be able to select which parts of the programme you would like to attend.
