Another by Dyke Thunder from John and Margaret Penny then sold at a healthy 4800gns. This was Shannas Explorer out of Shannas Nike, a Crownhead Glenlivet daughter. He went to Mr McArthur with a beef value of +25.

Trade has just started to kick on again and the next in the ring Brims Eton (lot 369), a Ballynahone Arni son out of Brims Allover, a Ronick Iceman sold for 6000gns for the Oags.

Knock Black Ellis (lot 370) from Albert Howie then set the bids running, this is a Carnew Arkle son out of Newhouse Upstate, a Greenwood Poll Homerun daughter. With a beef value of +29, he sold at 5000gns to Mr Temple, Lockerbie.

And then Shannas Exchequer (lot 371) collected a 7000gns bid. This is by Thunder again and out of Shannas Peach, a Crownhead Glenlivet daughter. Selling with a beef value of +37, he picked up the best price of the day so far.
