Limousins lead Sedgemoor Continental sale

Limousins led the trade at last week’s South West Continenalmultibreed sale at Sedgemoor, with the prices led by Quaish Daisy from Nick andLisa Hill.

This Quaish Bingo daughter is out of Brickhill Starburst andsold at 5000gns in-calf to Wilodge Explosion. She sold to Woodside FarmPartners, Bristol.

Next best was an eight month old bull calf from David andAnne Wheeler. This was Rosecroft George and Objat son out of Rosecroft Versace.He sold at 4000gns to W A Waterman and Son, Dorchester.

Leading the bulls was another Limousin, Sloughpool Francis.This one was secured by Mr N Rottenbury of South  Molton at 3500gns.

And the best British Blue of the day then sold at the samemoney, with this being Knightsford Firecracker from N C Smith, Shropshire. Thisone sold to N M Sanders, Camelford. (Greenslade Taylor Hunt).
