Muck Northwest to take place 15 March

Farmers could earn £100 a hectare more from better use of slurry and muck according to the organisers of Muck Northwest, which takes place on Tuesday 15 March at Reaseheath College in Nantwich, Cheshire.

Co-sponsored by the Environment Agency and organised by HarveyHughes, the event covers 10ha (25acres) and features live muck and slurry application demonstrations as well as seminars covering issues like NVZ regulations and getting the most from your slurry. A free slurry analysis service will also be available so farmers can bring along their own slurry samples for testing on the day.

Slurry storage, handling and incorporation equipment, including self-propelled spreaders, shallow injectors, arable injectors and umbilical equipment will all be on show. Visitors will also get the chance to see a crop of winter wheat being top-dressed with slurry. For more information visit www.harveyhughes.com or call 0161 927 7562.
