Ross dairy sale hits 2,080gns

Yesterday’s Ross dairy sale saw a 100% clearance and a top price of 2,080gns for a second calver from Applevale, Pershore, Worcestershire.

Another second calver from the same home made 2,020gns while calved heifers sold to 2,000gns on two occasions both from Brownswood Holsteins, Worcester.

First quality calved heifers averaged £2,082.50, second quality £1,653.75 and third quality £1,294.12.

Bulling heifers sold to 950gns, yearling heifers to 680gns and heifer calves to 360gns.
